GreenGeeks Is Heading to WordCamp Costa Rica 2026
We’re excited to share that GreenGeeks will be sponsoring WordCamp Costa Rica 2026, taking place September 18–19, 2026, at Universidad Central in Barrio Escalante, San José, Costa Rica.
This year’s event is especially meaningful as the Costa Rican WordPress community celebrates 10 years of WordCamps in the country. Over the past decade, WordCamp Costa Rica has brought together WordPress professionals, developers, designers, marketers, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts to learn, share ideas, and build connections.
And this year promises to be bigger than ever.
Two Days of WordPress, Learning, and Community
WordCamp Costa Rica 2026 will feature two days of programming designed to bring the community together through hands-on workshops, talks, networking, and opportunities to connect with companies and other WordPress professionals.
The first day, September 18, will focus on workshops and masterclasses, including sessions covering artificial intelligence, WooCommerce, online payments, and ecommerce.
On September 19, attendees can look forward to a full day of talks and workshops covering everything from AI and WordPress development to UX, ecommerce, marketing, finance, and the future of the WordPress community.
Artificial intelligence and ecommerce are two of the major themes throughout this year’s event, reflecting how quickly these areas are changing the way businesses build, sell, and communicate online.
A Decade of WordPress in Costa Rica
There’s something particularly special about being part of an event celebrating 10 consecutive years of WordCamps in Costa Rica.
What started as local WordPress community events has grown into a national gathering that brings together communities from San José, Cartago, Heredia, Guanacaste, San Carlos, Puntarenas, and beyond.
The 2026 event is expected to bring together hundreds of people who are passionate about WordPress and the broader digital ecosystem.It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, exchange ideas, discover new tools, and celebrate everything the Costa Rican WordPress community has built over the past decade.
